Removing prices older than 30 days

Regularly cleaning your database of outdated information is crucial for maintaining high performance of your website. The WP Price History plugin offers a feature to delete price data older than 30 days, which helps in keeping things organized and optimizing data. To use this feature, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the Plugin Settings

Log in to your WordPress admin panel, go to the plugins section, and select WP Price History. Click on "Settings" next to the plugin's name to access the configuration panel.

Step 2: Index Prices

Before proceeding to delete prices older than 30 days, it is recommended to index the current prices of products. This prevents a situation where you remove all available price information for a given product, leaving no price history. In the plugin settings, find and use the "Index all prices" option to ensure that all the latest prices are properly recorded.

Step 3: Delete Prices Older Than 30 Days

After completing the deletion process, it is advisable to check if all data older than 30 days have been successfully removed. This can be done by visiting the price history section of products and verifying if the displayed information has been updated.
